Level: B1 

By the end of the activity, you will be able to: 

1. Identify the structure and features of a place review. 

2. Use appropriate vocabulary and expressions to describe opinions. 

3. Write a structured review of a place (real or imagined). 

4. Revise and edit their own and their peers' writing. 

Through this lesson, you are going to write a webpage review.

Parts of a review

Before writing a review, let's identify the parts of a review. 
They are divided into title, introduction, positive experience, negative experience, overall opinion, recommendation and rating explanation.

Planning 

Choose a place from your city and complete the mind map to get an idea before writing. 

Drafting

Write your first draft in 120-150 words. Use the ideas from the mind map and the useful expression provided at the beginning. 

Peer-assessment

Change your draft with your partner and evaluate it with the checklist. 

Final version

Look at your classmate's comment and write your final version.
